Though it may take some construction, having a large bathroom with a hallway-like closet is perfect for single women. Creating storage spaces such as shoe racks and purse cubbies is easiest up against the wall. Being able to walk straight from your bathroom to your closet will also make getting ready for a night out convenient. You may be able to set up a vanity inside of your closet area to apply makeup and perfume. When you connect the bathroom and closet, be sure to have a door that separates the two with insulation and place a good fan inside of the bathroom. This will keep your clothes, purses, and shoes from being affected by any humidity escaping from the bathroom.
Install a living room wet bar
Many condominiums today, even of the luxury variety are missing wet bars. Wet bars to keep the wine, sparkling cider, or other refreshments that you enjoy is visibly appealing and convenient. Have a wet bar installed in one corner of your living room along with a small sink and decorated with your best crystal glasses. After a long day at work, this may become your first daily stop in the apartment before you enjoy the rest of your evening.
